Apollo Solar Indonesia Officially Joins APAMSI, Strengthening National Solar Energy Collaboration

Indonesia has set an ambitious target of achieving 23% renewable energy by 2025. However, as of mid-2024, the share stands at only around 15%. This gap underscores the urgent need for acceleration, particularly in the solar energy sector, which holds a potential capacity of more than 200 GW. To address this challenge, the government has introduced several strategic initiatives, including the Green RUPTL policy, which allocates more than half of electricity development to clean energy, and the 3.6 GW Rooftop Solar Program, which expands access for industries and businesses to adopt solar power.

Within this momentum, the Indonesian Solar Module Producers Association (APAMSI) plays a pivotal role as a collaborative platform for solar module manufacturers. Over the past 15 years, APAMSI has consistently strengthened the industry ecosystem, improved local product quality, and enhanced the global competitiveness of Indonesia’s solar energy sector.

Aligned with this vision, Apollo Solar Indonesia has officially joined APAMSI. This strategic step reinforces the company’s commitment to providing efficient, innovative, and environmentally friendly solar energy solutions, while fostering stronger collaboration with other clean energy industry players.

This membership also coincides with the association’s 15th anniversary celebration a milestone that highlights its tangible contributions to advancing national energy independence. Apollo Solar Indonesia consistently prioritizes Domestic Component Level (TKDN), delivers solar modules built with cutting-edge technology, and actively collaborates with stakeholders to strengthen Indonesia’s renewable energy supply chain.

Beyond manufacturing, the company upholds green business practices that support the national goal of achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2060. Competing with integrity in both domestic and global markets, Apollo Solar Indonesia stands on the pillars of integrity, transparency, and trust.

Backed by strong government policies, industry synergy through APAMSI, and rising public awareness of the importance of clean energy, solar power is set to play a key role in realizing an energy-independent, environmentally friendly Indonesia and in creating a more sustainable future.
