On June 5, 2023, the Coordination Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, officially inaugurated six companies in the solar panel industry that have built their factories in Batam with a total investment of Rp 12 trillion. The factory is managed by Hengky Witarsa, the Chief Operating Officer of PT Apollo Solar Indonesia. During the visit, the Coordination Minister for the Economy and his entourage had the opportunity to witness the advanced facilities of PT Apollo Solar Indonesia, which occupies an area of 1 hectare. They also observed the solar panel production process in the factory. Currently, PT Apollo Solar Indonesia has a production capacity of 500 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules per year.
