On June 5, 2023, the Coordination Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, officially inaugurated six companies in the solar panel industry that have built their factories in Batam with a total investment of Rp 12 trillion. They also observed the solar panel production process in the factory. Currently, PT Apollo Solar Indonesia has a production capacity of 500 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules per year.
